“Practicing dentistry continues to be exciting and ever-changing. We constantly strive to be on the cutting edge with techniques, equipment and patient comfort, but it?s the wonderful people that I have met and cared for over the years at Doctors of Dental Medicine that have made it truly fulfilling for me.”
Committed to providing exceptional care through continued personal and professional growth, Dr. Kenneth Alspach, a former teacher and coach in the Highland Park, NJ school system, has maintained his pursuit of advanced dental education through active membership in local, regional and national dental organizations and study groups. In his 30th year of practicing, Dr. Alspach has been recognized as a Fellow by The Academy of General Dentistry. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Monmouth-Ocean Dental Society and participates in the Forum for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Alspach, a graduate of Rutgers University, received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed a general practice residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ.
Sharing a similar philosophy of patient care, Dr. Alspach joined Dr. Meade in practice in 1986 after introduction by their residency program director. His uncompromising approach to the care of patients along with his activism in the community for over 26 years has helped solidify the foundation and reputation of Doctors of Dental Medicine. Dr. Alspach’s dedication to constant improvement of clinical knowledge and technical skills along with his ability to communicate with colleagues, patients and staff have allowed him to play a large role in the growth of the practice.
Dr. Alspach is a lifelong resident of Old Bridge, where he met his wife Patti in high school. They share a love of sports from their playing days when they met to their enjoyment of watching, participating with and coaching their three children; Brian (and wife, Leigh), Dr. Erin’ and Alec. Along the way Dr. Alspach has played, coached and broadcast sports at various levels. Dr. Alspach’s most recent coaching endeavor involved a high school level AAU basketball team that included Alec, which qualified for National both years. His other interests are music (which includes playing various percussion instruments) and exercise. The Alspach family is very proud to celebrate Alec’s recent graduation from Castleton State College in Vermont. The family will now turn their attention from travelling to New England to watch him play, to travelling locally as he begins his coaching career. The family is also excited to welcome their newest member, “Bailey,” a shih tzu puppy.
