Family Dentistry, also referred to as General Dentistry, encompasses a wide range of services dedicated to the establishment of optimal oral health. Focused on prevention, it is the first level of defense against dental disease.

Comprehensive Care: After an in-depth examination you will meet with your doctor to develop an individual treatment plan that’s right for you. Your personalized treatment plan will serve as a road map — assuring that all dental procedures will be consistent with your needs and goals. Our goal together, will be to maintain exceptional dental health and a pleasing smile for a lifetime. Based on that philosophy, we avoid performing ‘tooth by tooth’ dentistry which can have adverse effects on teeth, gums and jaws, by opting for the comprehensive approach dictated by your overall treatment plan.

A recare schedule will be determined based on your specific needs. Although most patients will do well with the standard check-up and cleaning every 6 months, some patients will benefit from a different approach.

Emergency Care: We have a doctor on call 24/7 to treat any dental emergency that may arise. Once the emergency has been relieved we will refer back to your personal treatment plan to determine the best long term solution.

Cosmetic Dentistry: We pride ourselves on providing exquisite, natural looking restorations. Whether your goal is a complete ‘smile makeover’ or a single filling, we will never compromise on aesthetics.

Preventive Care: Helping you prevent dental problems and emergencies is a top priority for us. Our team of full-time hygienists are trained to provide meticulous dental cleanings (prophylaxis) and periodontal cleanings, along with flouride treatments, nutritional counseling (as it relates to dental and periodontal disease prevention), and most importantly, oral hygiene instruction tailored to your specific needs.

There is an increasing amount of research supporting the link between dental and periodontal disease and systemic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes. Through the use of our intraoral camera system, you’ll be able to see areas of your teeth that are in need of attention that would otherwise be visually inaccessible. Educating our patients on the benefits of a healthy oral environment, in an effort to prevent dental disease, is our number one priority.
