“At Doctors of Dental Medicine I have the opportunity to work with an exceptional team of dental professionals dedicated to treating all of our patients with compassion and care. I am fortunate to be associated with a group of people who take pride in the dentistry they provide as well as the relationships they develop with their patients. I look forward to building long lasting relationships with my co-workers and my patients for many years to come.”
Allison Corapi, DMD
Dr. Allison Corapi became an associate at Doctors of Dental Medicine soon after moving to New Jersey from Long Island, New York. After attending the State University of New York at Binghamton, she went on to study dental medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. While in dental school Dr. Corapi was a member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic honor society and the Richard V. Tucker Study Club. After graduation, Dr. Corapi moved back to Long Island where she completed a residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. It was there that Dr. Corapi gained a great deal of experience with implant dentistry and emergency care. It was in the dental phobia clinic that she developed the skills necessary for working with fearful patients. Dr. Corapi is proud of her ability to put her patients at ease. During her time in residency she was able to attend many hours of continuing education courses and learn about new developments and technology available in the field of dentistry. She is also an active member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Corapi takes pleasure in attending professional conferences to continue in her interest in learning about new technology and procedures available to improve dental care for her patients. She is certified in Invisalign orthodontic treatment and provides that service for our patients.
Dr. Corapi is married to a fellow classmate and dentist. The couple graduated the same year from UMDNJ and they were married a year later. They enjoy spending time with their daughter Giulietta and taking on do-it-yourself improvement projects. Dr. Corapi plays the guitar and violin and loves riding her horse, Max.
